Verified profiles

Every member verifies their identity, with an ID card or a selfie, before joining a dinner or a night out. These images are deleted as soon as the check is done. You can also verify your phone number (optional) to get an extra badge. Access is by invitation and the Cipher team reviews profiles, which keeps a community of people who genuinely want to meet.

Cipher is for people aged 18 and over: every member confirms it when creating their account, by accepting our terms of use.

Meeting in real public places

Cipher dinners take place in real cafés in Casablanca, never at someone's home. The venue is revealed right before, so it doesn't circulate in advance. With Cipher Nights, you join people at rooftops, bars and parties: there too, stick to public places.

Discreet by default

  • No public profiles to scroll through. Nobody can browse members like on a swiping app.
  • Cipher Nights is ephemeral. Statuses, vibes and night-out photos are deleted from our servers every morning, and screenshots are blocked in this mode.
  • Your data is never sold. It is only shared with the technical providers essential to the service.

Your data, protected

  • Your password is never stored in plain text.
  • Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), and your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Confirmation codes and links sent by email work only once and expire.
  • You can delete your account at any time from My account, and choose whether to receive our news by email.

It's all explained in our privacy policy.

Our tips for meeting safely

  1. Tell a friend: let someone know where you are going and when you expect to be home.
  2. Arrange your own ride: get there and back on your own (tram, taxi, car).
  3. Keep your phone charged.
  4. Take your time before sharing your number, address or social accounts.
  5. Trust your instincts: if something makes you uncomfortable, you can leave at any time.
